This unique location is a “military memorial dedicated to honoring the men and women of all branches of service, from all generations and conflicts” (Soldiers & Sailors). The venue features both impressive architecture and historic significance. The manicured grounds and stone columns provide the perfect wedding day canvas.

When you host your wedding at Soldiers & Sailors, there are several rooms and areas for you and your guests to enjoy:

The Grand Ballroom

This traditional ballroom can seat between 100 to 300 wedding guests. If additional seating is needed, you can take advantage of the gorgeous balcony overlooking the main ballroom. The staff has designed several seating arrangements to suit your guest count and wedding style. This space also contains plenty of room for a dance floor, so you can end the night showing off your best moves.

The Patio

In addition to the Grand Ballroom, you can also rent the outdoor patio space. Logan and Clint chose to use this area for their wedding ceremony. The venue staff lined up rows of white chairs with floral arrangements on the ends to create the aisle. When Logan walked down the aisle and up the memorial steps to say her vows, the scene was simply magical. With a built-in aesthetic, very little decor was needed because the Memorial Hall and Museum provided such an elegant and sophisticated architectural background. As a photographer herself, Logan knew this would offer the wedding backdrop she envisioned.

Other Spaces

Other rooms available at Soldiers & Sailors Memorial Hall include a cocktail space on the third floor, the auditorium, and the Board Room for refreshments with your wedding party. For larger weddings, you may decide to host your cocktail hour in the first floor lobby. While this does require an extra fee, your guests will be able to read about American history and the brave men and women who fought for our country. The Soldiers and Sailors staff is phenomenal, and they can advise you on the best layout for your wedding.

Wedding Food & Decor

The Soldiers & Sailors Memorial Hall & Museum employs several in-house caterers who expertly provide multiple menu options within your budget. The venue is able to provide a seated, buffet, or station-style dinner—all with delicious options!

When it comes to decor, you already have an exceptional foundation with the unique and original architecture of the building. Within the Memorial Hall and Museum, the color scheme includes cream-colored walls with dark green, red, and golden embellishments. The intricate and flawless details found in the design of the building will complement almost any refined wedding aesthetic.
