Micro Wedding Package | 5 Reasons to Consider a Micro Wedding

Looking to celebrate your big day with a more intimate feel? Consider a micro wedding! Usually, a micro wedding is a small wedding ceremony and reception with 70 guests or fewer. After taking a peek at Rebecca and Shawn’s intimate ceremony and reception at The Inne at Watson’s Choice, I think you’ll see why I love micro weddings so much.

The Inne at Watson’s Choice is a wedding venue is located in beautiful Uniontown, Pennsylvania. The restored bed and breakfast provided an elegant but warm country feel that was the perfect venue for Rebecca and Shawn’s wedding day. The sweet couple was married on July 10, 2021, alongside their closest friends and family. My favorite part about this wedding was capturing all of the heartfelt emotions and outpourings of love—a small wedding was perfectly fitting for these two! It wasn’t just a show, it was truly about them.

5 Advantages of a Micro Wedding Package

Quality Time with Guests

A smaller wedding allows the newlyweds to slow things down and spend time mingling and chatting with each of their guests—which is especially nice if you haven’t seen them in a while. They will be so excited to see you and your fiancé come together in marriage. Your guests will get to experience your day and celebrate more personally with you.

Keep Loved Ones Safe

If you’re concerned about getting married during the pandemic, a micro wedding is a great way to keep everyone safe–especially elderly or more at-risk guests.

Stay on Budget

An intimate wedding could help you to save money–or splurge on what you really care about! Instead of budgeting for meals for over 200 guests, now you only have your nearest and dearest to consider. You can even provide a variety of food options since you won’t have to find someone to cater for a large event.

Other ways to save include: party favors, transportation, beverages, and rentals. With fewer people, you can stay under budget and save your money for a honeymoon or your future home!

More Personalization

With fewer guests, you can also afford to splurge on your dream vendors and personalized wedding vision! Now, you can book that romantic horse and carriage ride for the newlywed’s grand entrance. Or maybe you have a favorite band you would like to perform at your reception. Many couples also love to splurge by creating a signature cocktail to be served at their reception. The possibilities are endless, and the beauty is that you get to choose!

Micro wedding packages are ideal for saving in certain areas and splurging in others for a personalized wedding experience. For instance, Rebecca kept her style game strong by wearing one wedding dress for the ceremony and another for the reception. She was absolutely stunning in both!

More Venue Options

Many venue locations have limitations on the number of guests they can accommodate. Limitations may be due to the size of the room, the number of chairs/tables available, parking, or a variety of other reasons. With a smaller wedding, you will have numerous venue options to choose from because you aren’t constrained by the number of guests. Therefore, it’s less likely for your dream venue to turn you down.
