Katie and Bryce met almost three years ago in – wait for it – COLOMBIA! They have such a cool “how we met” story. They’re both international teachers in Bogota, Colombia. She’s a native Pennsylvanian, and he’s from Canada, so they return home to Pittsburgh when they’re not inspiring young world changers.
As soon as I met them, it was obvious that they are meant for each other. Katie and Bryce have such an easy kind of love, perfect for capturing these sweet in-the-moment photos. We began their session at Pittsburgh’s historic Mellon Park and then moved to Station Square, where Bryce braved his somewhat-fear of heights and climbed the stairs to get up to The Highline! Judging by those smiles, it’s safe to say the climb was worth it.
They will tie the knot next February in Isla Mujeres, Mexico, and I could not be happier for these two lovebirds! I had an absolute blast capturing this special engagement stage for them. This is just the beginning of their grand adventure together. Congratulations on your engagement, Katie and Bryce!
