If you’re an out-of-the-box kind of couple, let’s shake things up for your engagement photos! One of my biggest recommendations is to style your shoot in a way that authentically reflects you. The more you enjoy the session, the better your photos will be. KC and Jon have spontaneous and fun-loving personalities, so the local Butler Fair near Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania offered the perfect backdrop for their engagement session.
Of course, they wanted a few romantic shots sprinkled in, but KC and Jon wanted the overall theme to be playful and flirty. They also wanted a photo experience they’ll never forget. Our trip to the fair resulted in tons action shots filled with laughter. The lights, colors, and overall festive ambiance of Butler Fair gave their engagement photos so much personality! You can’t help but smile when you how happy these two are spending time together and enjoying the simpler things in life. There’s just something about a fair that feels so sweet and nostalgic. Even the ‘blooper’ shots were cute!
And, can we talk about the two-piece fringe set KC absolutely rocked in the second half of their session?! It can be tricky to dress up for a carnival theme, but KC nailed it! She looked gorgeous, yet the fringe paired well with the festive ambiance. The black boots and hat were fire! Perfectly styled for our ‘set’!
Maybe you already have some great pictures of the two of you or maybe you just want to try something a little different. Doing an activity you both enjoy is a fun way to spend time together and take a break from wedding planning. Plus, you get tons of pretty photos since you’re relaxed and not focused on the camera. It’s like having your own paparazzi to snap all the great action shots while you run around and have fun. And I am more than happy to be that gal for you!
